As you approach, the monumental gateway, known as the Darwaza-i-Rauza, commands attention with its sheer size and architectural finesse. Two additional structures within the sprawling complex of the Taj Mahal complement the grandeur of the main mausoleum. Adjacent to the main mausoleum, the Mosque built primarily of red sandstone showcases intricate detailing and ornate archways. Situated on the western side of the Taj Mahal complex, the Guesthouse(Mehman Khana) welcomes visitors with its graceful presence. This symmetrical structure was originally built to provide accommodations for guests, including dignitaries and royalty.

These intricate patterns, known as pietra dura, showcase the artisans' mastery in creating stunning inlays using semi-precious stones.
